Billingsly Placed on DL, Beckett to Pitch Monday
In old news (as of Friday) the Dodgers placed Billingsley on the DL for inflammation in his elbow. Billingsley is 10-9 this season with a 3.55 ERA. In a statement Dodgers GM Ned Coletti said; “You can’t look at our rotation and tell me we don’t need Josh Beckett.” Beckett is penciled in to make his first start against the Rockies (Francis) on Monday.
